The Great Otway National Park is yours to explore while staying in Apollo Bay. It covers rugged coastline, beaches and the mountains of the Otway Ranges. The Great Ocean Walk leads through the park to the Twelve Apostles rock formations it goes for around 104 kilometers starting from the Apollo Bay town center. Uncover the secrets of the rainforest and glide through the crowns of the highest trees at the Otway Fly, their zipline tours will get your adrenaline pumping. For the bravest of us the Great Ocean Road Eco Wildlife Park has something very special on offer, they have recently completed their Dingo petting area which allows you the unique opportunity to interact, face to face, with the Australian Dingo. The park also has other opportunities to come closer to our native wildlife, entrance into the enclosures is permitted, for you to hand-feed kangaroos, wallabies, emu and deer. You can do some more exploring with Otway Eco Tours, they will take you on their dawn or dusk canoe tours. This is a rare chance to see Platypus in the wild, share some time with our unique 100 million year old egg laying mammal in its natural habitat. Lake Elizabeth is a is a remote mountain lake formed by a landslide and a beautiful place to spend some time searching for the Platypus, you will be hiking for around 1 kilometer to the lake before jumping into the canoes.

Alternatively explore the Great Ocean Walk with Walk91, they provide transport on the Great Ocean Walk, rental and transfers of camping gear & food and water drops.
